Join SITC to help Thelma!

For those of you who don’t have the privilege of knowing her, Thelma Taylor has been a fixture in the lives of numerous lucky families, helping to raise multiple generations of children around Metro Detroit. Within her community, she has always been a pillar of charity and good will, having spent years donating soup to homeless shelters and organizing clothing drives. She is without a doubt the kindest, most humble person you will ever come across.

Unfortunately, sometimes bad things happen to the best of people. Early in the morning of April 30th, someone firebombed Thelma’s Detroit home. A home that she has lived in since the late 70s. Luckily, nobody inside was hurt, but the damage to her house was tremendous (you can read more about it in the article below).

Now she is faced with the task of rebuilding, and without homeowner’s insurance, it is indeed a steep hill to climb. SITC is asking for donations of any size to help get Thelma back up on her feet. It’s no coincidence that Thelma has so many people in her life that love and cherish her, and we are confident with everyone’s help we can reach our mark.

Here’s how you can help…

Our hope is to raise at least $25,000. Be it $10 or $1000, every little bit will help. Simply click on the paypal button below and paypal will coach you through the donation process. Wiling to donate your time to Thelma’s cause, or questions? Email us.
