One fine day my friend Zac told me about this volunteer program he has been doing for a few years and asked me if I’d like to come. When I got there I got mad that he didn’t tell me sooner. Every day after my first, Summer in the City got more and more fun and I got to know more and more people.
After a while people started calling Zac, Zach, and I “the Zacks” because they either didn’t feel like saying all of our names or they didn’t know what mine was. Summer in the City is fun and most importantly very helpful to the wonderful people who live in Detroit. Please consider Summer in the City.

Summer in the City needs your help in having all the right equipment for making Detroit back into the beautiful city it used to be. One way you can help summer in the City is by donating a few dollars to the painting department so they can have the money for all the paint, paint brushes, ladders, and whatever else the painting department needs.
