Late in the summer of 2006, I was dragged out of bed to the SITC carpool site by my older sister Nora Leon. She had heard about the program through a few of her friends from Roeper High School. Little did I know that after that day, SITC would become a way of life that would make the next six summers the best of my life!
Through SITC I have been able to work on so many projects that have had a huge impact on the city and the people that live there. SITC also introduced many amazing places and people that I would have never known of otherwise and will never forget. I can’t wait to see what new surprises are in store this summer!

Of the many things it take to make a successful mural, on that you simply can’t do without is paint. Part of why Summer in the City’s murals are so bright and beautiful is that we use high quality paint to make sure they will last far beyond the summer.
I have enjoyed paint so much over the past few years, I hope I can pay it forward and help provide paint for this summer’s murals.
