My undying love for Detroit began with dancing, smiling, singing, playing, and adventuring all throughout The D with Summer in the City.

Through my involvement with Summer in the City, I have been able to make sustainable differences in my community through working hands-on with creative individuals and groups. I believe that Detroit’s community spirit is innovative, and that through working together, we can work to make Detroit a more sustainable community for all.

I am so incredibly proud to call Detroit my hometown and to actively spend my summer moving and grooving in the city!

Support Abby’s Cause!

Field trips to The Detroit Institute of Arts, The Science Center, and Belle Isle make for unforgettable summertime experiences for Summer in the City’s Youth Enrichment campers.

By helping Summer in the City provide busses for campers to such enriching and educational institutions, children are provided the opportunity to play, learn, and think creatively!
